Nesta quinta-feira, 18 de novembro, ser\u00e3o escolhidos, em sess\u00e3o virtual, os representantes  da sociedade civil no Conselho Municipal de Promo\u00e7\u00e3o e Igualdade Racial de Ouro Preto, o COMPIR\/OP. O edital foi publicado no Di\u00e1rio Oficial do Munic\u00edpio no dia 18\/08 e as entidades interessadas em participar do pleito tiveram at\u00e9 o dia 8\/11 para se inscreverem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Segundo o o atual presidente do COMPIR\/OP, o pedagogo Adilson Pereira dos Santos, os conselhos s\u00e3o espa\u00e7os nos quais a sociedade civil interfere de forma proativa nas pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas: \u201cA participa\u00e7\u00e3o em conselhos \u00e9 sempre muito importante e, no caso do COMPIR\/OP n\u00e3o deixa de ter essa mesma relev\u00e2ncia\u201d.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Segundo ele, a nova composi\u00e7\u00e3o do Conselho Municipal de Promo\u00e7\u00e3o e Igualdade Racial de Ouro Preto foi recentemente alterada e \u201chouve mudan\u00e7as expressivas, dentre elas, a inclus\u00e3o de um representante da Diretoria de Promo\u00e7\u00e3o de Igualdade Racial\u201d, setor vinculado \u00e0 Secretaria de Cultura do Governo Municipal. Adilson Pereira dos Santos \u00e9 membro do N\u00facleo de Estudos Afro-Brasileiros e Ind\u00edgenas NEABI da Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto. Ele tamb\u00e9m exerce hoje o cargo de pr\u00f3-reitor de Gradua\u00e7\u00e3o da UFOP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
